As I stated before, Americans have a high standard of living and demand quality products. This means more material is needed for production, which of course raises the price. It’s simple supply and demand in action.

It takes A LOT of time and effort to assemble gym equipment, which contributes to the high price. This is also needed for quality control purposes, each machine must go through stringent testing before it leaves the factory.
